You need a Warner Bros Gaming account to play MultiVersus. But many players create one with incorrect credentials or forget to change their display name.
This might cause problems, considering online multiplayer is only available to players 18 or older, and there’s no in-game way to change your username.
The following guide helps you overcome all these problems by customising your profile settings and changing your age, avatar, and name.

How to Change Display Name?
There is no in-game option to edit your Gamertag or username. To do so, you must log in to your WB Gaming account.
Here’s how:
- 1. Go to account.wbgames.com.
- 2. Click “Log in” in the top right corner.
- 3. Enter your credentials or create a new account.
- 4. Tap your avatar and then “Account Settings.”
- 5. Select the pen next to “Display Name.”
- 6. Type in your new name and save.
Note: Display names in MultiVersus must be 4-8 letters and should not include special characters or spaces.
How to Change Age?
You should reset your game progress or create a new WB account to edit your age.
- 1. Go to account.wbgames.com.
- 2. Click “Log in” in the top corner.
- 3. Choose “Create a Free WB Games Account.”
- 4. Enter your age.
- 5. Specify region and state.
- 6. Accept and continue.
- 7. Enter an email address and return to the game.
Note: You’ll also have the opportunity to change your display name.
How to Change Profile Avatar?
Select the current profile image in the top left corner of the main menu. Click the pen next to your avatar. Choose a new picture and press Esc (B on Xbox, circle on PlayStation) to exit.
If you want to change your WB gaming account pfp, log in on a browser. Click your avatar and select “Account Settings.” Finally, to update the image, click the pen next to your Profile Picture.
Note: You must verify your email address before changing the WB avatar.
How to Change the Home Screen Character?
There is no way to change the character that appears in the main lobby or the game’s home screen. MultiVersus displays random heroes in the main menu, and the only way to interact with them is by pressing space on the keyboard to hear their taglines.

How to Log Out of Your Account?
Unfortunately, as of this writing, there are no in-game options to sign out of your WB account in MultiVersus. But you can contact Customer Support and ask them to disconnect your account.
Here’s how:
- 1. Go to account.wbgames.com/linked-accounts.
- 2. Find the console or platform that is linked to your account.
- 3. Click “Disconnect” and then “Contact Customer Support.”
- 4. Fill out the form and ask the support team to disconnect your account.
Once the WB support team does so, you can log in to the game with a new email address.
